DRV25DUAL board now available, new Uniport V2 boards should be in shortly and 3.1Nm motors should arrive second week in March. Uniport V2 boards have arrived on are now available at the new reduced price.

The new batch of motors are on there way from China and should arrive within two weeks.
New DRV25DUAL board on order, this board will replace the existing DRV25PS board and the System4 DRV25mod board. The board is surface mount and will not be available in kit form. The new design when configured as the DRV25 stand alone board does have full power save function built-in without need for a PS line. Full details available soon. There is also a surface mount version of the Uniport board in development with just two relays but at a lower price. Please note that we have now run out of the existing Uniport boards.
The Onestep stepper drive unit has been removed from the website.

Our ready built DRV25mod boards are now supplied with smd components. Conventional parts are supplied with the Kit version. From January 2010 there will be a small increase in the prices of driver boards due to the fact that the Allegro driver chips have risen in cost by 40% over the last 6 months.

New System4 all in one board released, this replaces the System3 board which has now been discontinued.
System1 also released, this replaces both the PBB20 and PBB20H boards.

Our new flagship product is almost ready for release, details coming soon. Due to release on the first of September we have System4. A completely new design all in one board with plug in modules up to 4 axis and can be tailor made to your own requirements. Due to improved dollar pound exchange rates we have lowered the prices of our power supplies. The PBB20/PBB20H boards are to be discontinued and replaced by System1, a buffered parallel board with a single slot to accept the new spindle control module.

Rather than adding fees to the price of the order all prices now include fees to simplify the order process.
NEW: Just arrived, made to our own spec, 3.1Nm Stepper motors with 2 mtr cables. Due to new increased transaction charges on Google Checkout we now charge 1.5% fees on all Google buttons and Invoices. We are still paying 2% on top ourselves, on Google and Paypal transactions.

Spindle2 V2.0 boards now in stock. A new batch of Uniport V1.2 boards also now in stock and available in a kit version. The popular PCPPS board has also been updated and the PCPPS-3 version is now available in kit form, but we have discontinued the basic PCPPS-1 version.

A new batch of Spindle2 boards have been ordered and the Kit version will be available shortly. We are still awaiting delivery of the larger stepper motors but the Emergency stop buttons are now in stock. A small batch of a four winding Nema 23 1Nm motors is available at the moment. March 6th, 1.8Nm and 3Nm motors are back in stock.

There has been a delay with the Uniport boards due to faulty PCB’s and the need to have them remade. Stepper motors are still in short supply but we have been promised stock of the 3Nm motors towards the middle of Feb. Due to an increase in orders received over the last month we have been running behind with the average dispatch schedule. Please accept our apologies for delays with your orders and we are working hard to return to normal dispatch times. Latest update 22/2/09. All orders are up to date and we are expecting some Nema 23, 1Nm motors in the next few days at a great price. We have also sourced a new low cost roller microswitch and are now supplying 8 mm Gremflex expandable sleeving in 2.5 and 5 Mtr lengths. Also we have another batch of Emergency stop buttons arriving shortly.

NEW: Google checkout buttons now have international postage options. All Postal prices are now based on weight. Small items have lower postal cost and heavy items have increased charges. See order information page for full details. New systems page added to site. Prototypes have been ordered for a new parallel interface board, UNIPORT. This is a USB powered board with buffered outputs, charge pump circuit, power save output, optical isolated inputs and three 16 amp relays. More details later this month. Due to the weak pound, prices of imported products like motors and power supplies have increased substantially. Although some components used in our board designs have increased in cost, we will endeavor to hold prices down on our products as long as possible. NEW: We have acquired some stock of a Nema23, 1.25Nm motor at pre-rise prices.

DRV50 high power stepper driver boards are now in stock.
Last day for orders before xmas is the 10th of December, orders placed post this date will be processed after the 26th. From the 1st of January there will be new postal charges introduced and the Buy it now buttons will include international postage options.

We have discontinued our 145W PSU and are introducing 27 and 36 volt version of the 350 Watt power supplies.
Stepper motors can only be purchase along with ONESTEP units, System3+ or DRV25PS boards and are no longer supplied separately. S35036 power supplies now in stock.

NEW: ONESTEP, handheld microprocessor stepper controller unit. With optional 2.5A stepper driver built in.
The CPR2 charge pump relay board has been discontinued. DRV50 boards should be available late November, production boards to be ordered shortly. A pin-out error has been found with the PCPPS boards, see errata pdf for details. Unfortunately we have had to increase the price on the 145 & 350 watt power supplies due to a strong dollar and a weak pound. However we have been able to reduced the price of the Optoport kit from £40 to £37.

The original basic breakout board has been replaced by the new PCPPS board that is available in three versions, basic, charge pump and power save models. We have reached a new milestone of 10,000 hits to our site. Prototype DRV50 boards have arrived for testing, our new 48V at 5A Stepper Driver board. More details next month.

A new batch of Optoport boards have arrived with silk screen legend. We also have new boards in development, details later this month. Arriving soon is the new DRV25PS board, completely revised layout and optional vertical mounting bracket. It also has an automatic power save function to reduce current through the board and motors when not in use. To complement the new stepper board is the new PCPPS breakout board with charge pump and powersave output. The board has full silkscreen legend and marked with step and direction outputs rather than pin numbers. Both of the new boards are now in stock.

NEW: System3+ boards are on order and should be with us mid May. Spindle control boards are now available. System3+ boards have arrived and available now, replacing the existing design. Ex Relay boards have also arrived and ready for sale.

NEW: The 350 watt 24V @ 14.5 power supplies have arrived. We have also replaced our 150 Watt Sunpower PSU with a MW (Mean Well) 145 Watt, 24V 6A unit at a great price. Due to increased copper prices we have had to increase the price of our Tri rated wire. Production Speed controller and External relay boards have been ordered due in end of April.

We now supply 1.8 Nm Nema 23 Stepper Motors suitable for our System3 and DRV25M boards. From March we will be offering a product of the month with a special discount price. We have been able to reduced price on our 24V 150 Watt power supplies. 350 watt 24V @ 14.5 Amp power supplies due in shortly.

In development this month we have a remote relay board with 16A contacts that can be fitted in close proximity to a mains motor and controlled from the PBB20 breakout board. An analogue convertor board should also be available shortly that takes step signals and gives 0-10V output suitable to drive a spindle motor control circuit. Two tier postage price system introduced, items with H for heavy in price code attract the higher £5.00 postage cost.

NEW: SYSTEM 3 For the new year we have a new all in one 3 Axis stepper driver board with Charge pump parallel interface. This all in one board is a dream to use, practically plug and go with minimum connections and the same spec as the DRV25M boards. We have added a Videocorner page to mention past video products previously sold on our now discontinued site. The pages displayed on the DIYCNC site have also been resized to improve readability on 1024 * 768 displays. A new low cost parallel buffered signal board, PBB20 has been ordered and should be available at the end of the month. We have increased our range of accessories and mechanical components. PBB20 boards have arrived. Board is now available with or without high voltage pre-regulator. Due to the increasing popularity of the site, we have broken through the 1000 hits a month barrier.

NEW: Replacement stepper motor drive board has arrived, DRV25M now has switchable current settings an unplugable motor output connector, improved layout, an enable line LED and even a blue power LED. We finally have the much modified Optoport production boards arriving second week of December. The production Optoboards have arrived, see Optoport page for new details.

New pricing structure to be introduced Sunday November the 4th:
We will be reducing the prices of all our products, boards, electrical, mechanical accessories and materials and adding a fixed low postage cost. This helps offset rising postal costs but reduces the price on larger orders. There is now no minimum order if paying by cheque or postal order. Our sister site www.videocorner.co.uk is being discontinued at the end of this year.

NEW: Mains 150 Watt power supply added to our range of products.
Still waiting for new prototypes due to China holiday. Another new addition in development is Bufferport this is another variation of Optoport with high voltage regulator, buffered inputs and outputs, but less the opto isolators which simplifies the design and reduces cost. The buffers give extra drive capability that some stepper boards require above the limits of the average PC Parallel port. Also in development is a motor speed controller that gives an analogue voltage output proportional to input frequency. Ideal for controlling spindle motor speed circuits. Bufferport prototypes ordered but Combi board canceled.

We are now testing the opto isolated parallel port board. The high voltage regulator boards are ready for production. Two more new boards have been developed. A Combi board, similar to the Optoport but without isolation, and a low cost high voltage regulator, Reg15. Prototypes have been ordered and we will keep you informed of there progress. We have now added a range of Torx screws to our Mechanical section

Special offer on Stepper motor drive boards. We have reduced the price on the DRV25/DRV25K boards and if you buy two you get the third for half price.
Our G-Code Corner has now expanded into separate pages and the latest project is a hand wheel. The G-code files are now saved as txt files for easy download and can then be renamed to the format required. We will be adding further projects through the year and video clips of machining operations.
